Titanic Distillers’ 5 Year Old Pot Still Irish Whiskey PX Finish celebrates those moments of connection, bringing together traditional Irish craftsmanship and character. A distinctive expression of Irish Pot Still whiskey, crafted with precision and finished in an exceptional PX-seasoned American white oak hogshead.

Triple distilled from a traditional 50:50 mash of malted and unmalted barley, this five-year-old whiskey spends its first four years maturing in ex-American bourbon barrels before being transferred for a final year of maturation in a rare Bogel American white oak hogshead.

Originally used to mature Bogel Pinot Noir in California, the cask was subsequently seasoned with Pedro Ximénez sherry in Jerez, creating an extraordinary maturation vessel with depth, richness and complexity. Its influence brings an elegant interplay of dark fruit, cocoa, sweet sherry and warming spice to the underlying Pot Still character.

The result is a beautifully layered whiskey: rich yet refined, full-bodied yet remarkably smooth, with the distinctive spice of Irish Pot Still whiskey complemented by the luxurious sweetness of PX sherry.
