A beautiful cuvée, well structured, a beautiful wine which exalts notes of black fruits, spice and mineral sensation. A very beautiful vintage and a wine destined to give pleasure for years to come.
The Picasses derive a very defined structure from limestone, affording them a long aging capacity of at least 15 years and much more depending on the vintage and the conditions of development.
"Chalk soil on the slope up to the plateau above the town of Chinon gives this organic wine its mineral texture, which is allied to great fruit and spice. Wood aging lends generous, ripe tannins, the layers of black fruits are impressive and have aged well." 92 points. (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, January 2019)
