For over 150 years, Moosehead has remained fiercely independent. Led by the Oland family since 1867, it stands proud as the last major brewery in Canada still genuinely Canadian-owned. Now run by its sixth generation, the family’s unwavering passion has steered Moosehead through devastating fires, Prohibition, the Great Depression, two world wars, and fierce competition from global brewing giants. Every can is made with 100% Canadian barley malt, an age-old proprietary yeast culture, and pure Spruce Lake water – then brewed longer than standard fast-processed lagers to achieve its signature depth of character.
This lager has delicate hop aromas and though light in body, its vibrant carbonation gives it a noticeably fuller mouthfeel, carrying the beer's subtle crispness with lively energy before settling into a clean, fresh finish. It makes a great pairing with a classic cheeseburger.
