Lleiroso Luz Millar Ribera Del Duero Roble 75cl

Bodegas Lleiroso was founded in 2001 in Valbuena de Duero, at the heart of Ribera del Duero’s famed “Golden Mile.” Created by Alberto Cobo, the winery quickly earned a reputation for producing elegant, modern Tempranillo from some of the region’s finest vineyard sites. Located near the Duero River and the historic monastery of Santa María de Valbuena, Lleiroso combines meticulous vineyard work with careful ageing to craft wines of purity and character.

Bodegas Lleiroso Crianza Ribera del Duero 2022 is made from 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), sourced from low-yielding vines, some up to 80 years old. The 2022/23 vintage delivered ripe, concentrated fruit with excellent freshness, producing a wine of depth and balance. After fermentation, the wine was matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by further bottle ageing to soften the tannins and integrate the oak.

The wine is deep cherry red in colour with expressive aromas of blackberry, plum, and ripe cherry layered with hints of vanilla, spice, cocoa, and subtle cedar. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet smooth, with velvety tannins, juicy dark fruit, and a touch of earth and oak spice. The finish is long, polished, and distinctly Ribera del Duero.

This Crianza is an excellent partner for roast lamb, grilled ribeye, slow-cooked beef, charcuterie, or mature Manchego cheese. Decant for 30 minutes before serving to reveal its full complexity.
