This Bonded Rye from Jack Daniels is made with a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley and distilled in large column stills. the resulting spirit undergoes filtration through three feet of sugar maple charcoal, which softens the spirit. Following this, it is aged in new American oak barrels, creating aromas of maple syrup, black pepper and menthol on the nose, complemented by a sweet and spicy notes on the palate.
