Presenting The Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 12, the very last release from the Highland distillery's much-loved Cask Strength series. Bottled at a robust 58.2% abv, the liquid was held in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks before being decanted.
On the nose, we find aromas of creamy cappuccino, raisin fruit cake, cherry liqueur and fragrant sandalwood. The palate is full of velvety spice, upon a layer of dark chocolate tiramisu with hints of orange peel, toasted almond and crystallised ginger leading into a lingering finale of amaretto-laced mocha, morello cherry and creme brulee.
