Today, the Roquette family oversees both traditional Port production and some of Portugal’s most respected Douro wines.

Flor de Crasto Red is a fresh, modern Douro blend made from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, crafted to deliver purity of fruit, balance and immediate drinkability. The 2023 vintage was shaped by an atypical growing season, a mild, rainy winter, a very dry and warm spring, and a hot summer punctuated by high rainfall in June and September. Despite the challenges, the grapes arrived at the winery healthy and fully ripe, resulting in wines with excellent colour, structure and character.

The wine shows a deep, bright ruby colour and an expressive, well‑defined aromatic profile. Fresh red fruit leads, cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, supported by subtle floral notes that add finesse and lift. On the palate, the attack is harmonious and elegant, evolving into a wine with good volume and a silky texture. Polished, well‑integrated tannins provide structure without heaviness, and the finish is fresh, balanced and persistent, delivering a sense of purity and liveliness that is the hallmark of Flor de Crasto.

A stainless‑steel‑aged Douro red that’s vibrant, approachable and superb value, ideal for everyday drinking, casual meals, or by‑the‑glass service.
