The name Perrières would usually suggest the presence of stones. But counterintuitively, this is a vineyard rich in clay. It's located opposite the Premier Cru Clos des Epeneaux. This is a classic Pommard, but with the edges slightly smoothed by Sébastien Magnien's skill in the vineyard and cellar. Generous and rich, this wine has a spicy, earthy and ferrous character. The firm but refined tannins call out for meat or cheese.
