Introducing 25.3 Single Malt Irish Whiskey.
25.3 is a Single Malt mash bill, produced entirely from malted barley and double distilled before being aged for a minimum of 5 years.
Ranging from 5 years and 2 months, to 5 years and 7 months in age, this release is a carefully crafted blend of eight select casks bought back from the original 125 owners, chosen for their individual character and balance. The finishing cask was an ex-California Pinot Noir 225L which we had previously used for finishing our Smugglers Reserve Rum adding a rich layer of rum and Pinot Noir character and enhancing the sweetness, spice and fruit tones in the final whiskey.
The result is a beautifully rounded, layered spirit, balancing the best of Bourbon, Oloroso, Pinot Noir and Rum influences in a uniquely vibrant single malt.
