Zinfandel is a favorite here at Ridge Vineyards because of its versatility. Many zinfandels pair beautifully with barbeque on warm summer days and are equally fit for hearty, comforting dishes on cold-weather nights.
This is especially true for our Pagani Ranch Zinfandel. This exotic old-vine field blend comes from a cool pocket of Sonoma Valley where warm days and cool, foggy mornings allow the grapes to ripen very slowly throughout the growing season. The resultant wine is full-bodied and complex, with aromatic bramble fruit, elegant tannins, and a lingering finish.
