Mâcon-Lugny "Les Genièvres" 2024 reveals a brilliant pale gold colour. The floral, expressive nose opens with aromas of acacia and honeysuckle, enhanced by delicate notes of vanilla. Round and generous on the palate, revealing aromas of yellow fruit. Elegant finish with good length. Ready to drink now but will age surprisingly well.
Maison Louis Latour, one of Burgundy’s most historic producers, has long championed the wines of the Mâconnais. Les Genièvres, from the village of Lugny, is among their most recognised bottlings, offering excellent value and a pure expression of southern Burgundy Chardonnay. The vineyard of Les Genièvres is one of the best in the area so make sure you don't confuse this with Macon-Lugny from lesser vineyards.
