Surrounded by vineyards and the morainic hills of Lake Garda, Monte del Frà was founded as a monastery of the Friars of Santa Maria Della Scala. Today, Monte del Frà is run by the Bonomo family. Crisp, fruity, and light, this Custoza DOC is simple yet complex with delicate white flower notes and superb minerality.
This is a gorgeous Italian white blend from Custoza, a small hamlet in the commune of Sommacampagna, situated to the south-east of Lake Garda, Veneto. The blend is made up of 40% Garganega, 15% Trebbiano Toscano, 15% Trebbianello, and 30% Cortese. The resulting wine is dry and crisp with green apple and floral tones on the nose, the palate refreshing with zesty fruit and a long finish.
