On the nose rich toffee and orchard fruit, reminiscent of caramelised toffee apples. On the palate milk chocolate and sweat cereal notes lead from the malt. Over time in glass these open to reveal fresh hints of apple and cola cube. The finish is decadent and mouth coating. Chewy pot still spice, red fruit, linseed and tobacco leaf compliment the persistent finish.

Blend Non-Age Statement (Over €50)
Shortcross Distiller's Duo Irish Whiskey has been proudly distilled, matured and bottled at Rademon Estate Distillery in County Down. This unique expression of Irish Whiskey is a marriage of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Shortcross Irish Whiskies. Shortcross are the first brand to create this unique blend using only whiskey distilled entirely in their distillery.
The final blend is matured in ex-bourbon and virgin American white oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years before being skilfully blended by master blender, David-Boyd Armstrong. The whiskeys were double distilled for a remarkable depth of flavour in copper pot stills, including one of the smallest whiskey stills on the island of Ireland. Non-chill filtered, all natural colour.
