A surprisingly sweet artisanal mezcal from Derrumbes, Tamaulipas is made by maestro mezcalero Cuauhtémoc Jaquez in the San Carlos region of Tamaulipas, using a combination of Univittata, Funkiana and Americana agave. Produced with traditional methods and equipment, this mezcal has a sweet, dry palate with lively fruit notes, green herbs and sweet agave notes.
