A bright ruby red in colour, this Chianti DOCG shows well integrated aromas of tart red cherries, tobacco, sunbaked earth, and a hint of cedar spice. On the palate it has a firm structure and a refreshing acidity which makes this wine a very versatile food wine.
When young it is excellent with rich flavoured dishes, especially the traditional specialities of Tuscan cuisine: pasta with ragout of Chianina beef, white bean soup and fish soups.
