Cien y Pico' meaning "a hundred and something" refers to the age of the vines.
This wine is made in Manchuela, a small region in South-Eastern Spain. 'Cien y Pico' meaning a hundred and something refers to the age of the vines that grow the Garnacha (Grenache), Tintorera and Bobal grapes that go into this red wine blend. This wine is full of fruit flavours such as blueberries, damsons and cherries, with floral hints of lavender and fresh tea particularly present on the nose. The palate is intense and has firm but well-rounded tannins that integrate well with the strong fruity character. Great with red meat dishes!
