Blending between the fragrant and young amontillados of the house with sweet wines, such as Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel, with the latter being in greater proportion than in the medium.
Oxidative aged wine, made from the varieties Palomino, Moscatel, and Pedro Ximénez, with about 5 years of aging using the solera and criaderas system in American oak barrels. It is sweet, with an alcohol content of 17.5% vol.
Mahogany in colour, it has intense and very complex aromas, with notes of dried fruits (raisins, dried figs, apricots), spice, and caramel. On the palate, it is very smooth and sweet, balanced, long, and persistent. Ideal for enjoying as an aperitif or dessert.
An essential wine at home, as it perfectly serves as an aperitif, dessert, to accompany fruit, cheeses, or foie. Serve on ice, and a slice of orange.
